Annual NASC  Membership Fees

The Committee resolved and presented at the AGM on 10 December that the annual membership be $350 ($250 if paid on time) so the fee has not been increased. 

However given the club has a year ending 30 June, it is proposed that a fee for 18 months of membership be collected this month in order to align membership income with the club financial year. It has slipped back over the years and this is a chance to rectify the situation.

This will be a once only 18 month billing period, with the next annual billing being due in July 2025 to cover the 25/26 year.

Please pay $375 this month. If paid after 31 January the fee will be $525

Remitting the $375 fee by the end of this month will help the club and is a better deal for you.

Dear Members,

I am sad to report that one of our life time members, Dennis Arnold passed away late last year.

Dennis was one of the founding members of the North Arm Sailing Club. He joined the club in 1964, which predated the actual construction of the shed. (66/67)

He joined the club committee in 1977 and kept a close interest in the club throughout his life.

In his later years, Dennis never missed the AGM and wisely explained the history and ethos of the NASC.

One of the tinnies was named in his honour and he will be remembered as one of the clubs great contributors.

Our condolences to his family.

Dates for your diary: Shed Days and AGM

The AGM has been scheduled for the Sunday the 10th of December at 11:00am. An official notice will be sent shortly.

We would like to introduce members to the new boats and shed facilities to ensure that we can all safely operate and maintain the shed and kayaks. To achieve this we will be hosting ‘Shed Days’ on the following dates.

SATURDAY 18TH NOVEMBER    0900 and 1000

SUNDAY 19TH NOVEMBER        0900 and 1000

SATURDAY 25TH NOVEMBER    0900 and 1000

SUNDAY 26TH NOVEMBER        0900 and 1000

Please RSVP to president@northarmsailingclub.org  with the date and time you would like to come. We will limit the number to 5 people per hour to ensure we are not tripping over each other.

We look forward to meeting you at the shed and introducing you to the new kayaks and operating instructions.
